Subscribe to Celcom3G and get a 'free' HP Notebook

Celcom (Malaysia) Bhd entered into a partnership with leading-edge technology solutions provider Hewlett- Packard (M) Sdn Bhd.
Through the partnership, the two have offi cially unveiled a unique notebook and 3G service promotion.

For only RM190 a month, users will be able to take home a HP Compaq nx6310 notebook, mid-range mobile workstation that offers users a compelling mobile computing solution.



“We always believe in partnering local partners, and this joint-initiative with Celcom underlines our goal of providing well-integrated products, services and solutions. Users can now pay a very affordable sum every month and enjoy using a cuttingedge HP notebook that is connected wirelessly via Celcom, the provider of Malaysia’s widest 3G network coverage,” said Hewlett-Packard (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd country general manager for personal systems group Danny Lee.

Commenting on the strategic partnership, Celcom Malaysia Bhd’s chief executive offi cer Datuk Shazalli Ramly revealed, “This unprecedented strategic alliance is set to strengthen both Celcom and HP’s market position and revenue through voice and data usage for Celcom and upgrades and accessory sales for HP.

During our previous alliance with Citibank, I mentioned that Celcom will be concentrating on revenue derived from data usage.

This alliance with HP is just the tip of the iceberg of what we have in store for Celcom customers.

Subscribers of the Celcom HP 3G Bundling Package programme need only pay RM190 per month for 24 installments.

They will take home a fully-featured HP Compaq nx6310 notebook, a Celcom 3G data card as well as a full subscription to the Celcom 3G service, which now offers download speeds of up to 2Mbps (megabits per second).

The programme is available via a Zero- Per Cent interest installment plan for selected credit cards.

The entire bundle is worth RM4,560, which saves you up to RM2,318 off the full value of RM6,878.

With Celcom 3G already covering selected major urban centres of Malaysia, subscribers of the programme can now use HP to experience Malaysia’s widest 3G coverage.

The service provider’s network coverage will be expanded to serve more areas in future.

In order to own a cutting-edge HP notebook as well as sign up for a highspeed and always-on 3G service, users can sign up for the programme at the nearest HP resellers, Celcom branches, TM points and even at the Celcom key dealers.
